Seventh seminar organized by the CEC and the Council of Europe concluded in Neum
Due to ambiguities and doubts about election activities to date, as well as irregularities in them, the Council of Europe and members of the Central Election Commission decided to establish a network of non-governmental organisations to serve as neutral observers at this year’s elections. The seventh seminar was also held at the “Stella” Hotel in Neum from 23.08 – 26.08. Our organisation participated in this seminar, as it had in previous ones

Due to uncertainty and suspicions regarding previous election activities, as well as alleged irregularities, the Council of Europe and members of the Central Election Commission decided to establish a network of non-governmental organizations to serve as neutral observers at this year’s elections.
The seventh seminar in the series was held at the Stella Hotel in Neum from 23.08. to 26.08. As at previous seminars, our organization participated in this one in cooperation with the Vermont Youth Center, along with several non-governmental organizations from across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their trained representatives will monitor the entire electoral process, including election day itself. On the last day of training, participants also took a test. We are especially pleased to note that CER representatives Milijana Vržić and Bojana Ostojić from Bijeljina passed the final test, giving them the opportunity to monitor the electoral process as impartial observers in the upcoming elections and thus contribute to a transparent electoral process.
