Vermont and CER meet with the Mayor of Bijeljina

On Tuesday, 19 August 2014, the first meeting on cooperation between the city administration and civil society was held in the office of the Mayor of Bijeljina. In addition to Mayor Mićo Mićić, the meeting was attended by Damir Radenković, Director of the Vermont Youth Centre in Brčko, and Mladen Dokić, Director of the Centre for Education and Research in Bijeljina.
The meeting discussed cooperation between the city administration and civil society, ways of working together to implement various projects, and attracting foreign donors to Bijeljina.
As a result of this meeting, it was agreed that a seminar on “Cooperation between the city administration, civil society and business owners” will be held on Thursday, 28 August, at the “Bijeljina Cultural Center”, starting at 18:00, organized by the “Vermont” Youth Center under the auspices of the European Union.
The seminar will also feature the launch of CER, as well as the formal signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the City of Bijeljina, the “Vermont” Youth Center and the Center for Education and Research (CER).
