European Union Erasmus+ Programme Information Day held

Representatives of the Centre for Education and Research attended an information day on the European Union’s “Erasmus+” Programme, organised by the City of Bijeljina Administration in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office. The event gave all participants the opportunity to learn more about the opportunities offered by the programme.

The aim of organising this Info Day was to familiarise potential applicants with the requirements they must meet to submit projects for upcoming calls, and projects, as well as which topics and types of activities are eligible for funding.

The presentations were delivered by Mr Suad Muhibić, Head of the National ERASMUS+ Office; Nena Marković, Project Officer at the National Erasmus+ Office; and Senada Sušić, Youth Work Manager at the NGO PRONI Brčko.

The European Union’s “Erasmus+” programme for education, science, youth and sport for the period 2014–2020 covers all European and international EU programmes, networks, platforms and initiatives in the fields of education, training, youth and sport. It is intended for pupils, students, teaching and non-teaching staff at all levels of education, young people aged between 13 and 30, individuals, staff and members of organisations working with young people, as well as sports workers, volunteers and athletes.

The Info Day is a new initiative, launched by the City Administration’s Department for Local Economic Development and European Integration to make information more accessible and support partner organisations such as NGOs, public institutions, educational institutions and businesses in obtaining appropriate information about available EU funds, all with the aim of advancing the development of our City.

The EU programme “ERASMUS+” Info Day is the third such event organised by the City Administration in cooperation with the relevant EU programme coordinators at the level of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
