We celebrated Children’s Week

As part of Children's Week, observed in Republika Srpska from 07.10 to 11.10 2019 under the slogan “MY WEEK – MY GODINA,” representatives of the “Petar Pan” Preschool in Bijeljina visited the Faculty of Education of the University of East Sarajevo with the children. The Faculty’s teaching staff and students, together with the Center for Education and Research, organized a rich cultural and entertainment program for them.

The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Dalibor Stević, and Vice Dean for Teaching, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dragana Radivojević, welcomed everyone and wished them a pleasant stay and an enjoyable time taking part in educational activities at the Faculty of Education.

- The first Sunday in October is dedicated to the youngest children and the celebration of their week. As the slogan “My week, my year” says, we strive to hold events in honour of children throughout the year. Once again, we have demonstrated our strong cooperation with the Faculty of Education and preschool institutions. Educators and staff are there to teach children about their basic rights, as well as to help them learn that the freedoms and rights of others must also be respected. The fact that there is a waiting list for places at the institution shows that we are on the right path. - said Mladen Dokić, director of the Centre for Education and Research.
