Music evening “Open Stage 2026” and support for children’s creativity

Performing at the major music evening as part of “Open Stage 2026” were students of the MEC “Muzikum,” the “Zujalica” choir, winners of the “Children Sing for Semberija” festival, and the popular “Flying Guitar,” which further raised the energy and gave the audience an evening to remember.

Centar za edukaciju i istraživanje – CER Bijeljina was pleased to help the Children’s Cultural Center organize this event, which was not just a concert but also a wonderful preview of one of the most beautiful events dedicated to children in our city—the “Children Sing for Semberija” festival.

This festival is already recognized as a place where children get the chance to showcase their talents, build self-confidence, fall in love with the stage and experience the joy of creating together. That is why it is important for events like this to receive support from institutions, organizations, businesses and individuals who recognize the importance of investing in children, culture and true values.

During the evening, thanks were expressed to the institutions and individuals who selflessly support children’s creativity and activities focused on the youngest members of our community. Awards were presented to “Sveti Vračevi” Hospital, “Elektro-Bijeljina,” the “Semberija” Cultural Center, the Center for Education and Research – CER Bijeljina, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports, and Željana Arsenović, President of the Bijeljina City Assembly.

CER says it will continue to support projects that promote children, young people, education, culture, family and positive social values.

“We are proud to have been part of an evening that put children in the spotlight. Their talent, joy and energy are the best reminder of why it is important to work together to create a space where young people can grow, create and show the very best in themselves,” said CER Bijeljina.

Last night’s concert showed that Bijeljina has talented children, dedicated mentors and an audience that knows how to recognize and support true values.

Once again, the young talents showed how much emotion, beauty and love of music they carry within them. Their performance created a special atmosphere and reminded us how important it is to support children, young people and those who create the most beautiful memories through music.

Well done to @mecm35 and all the participants! 👏✨
