Decision adopted to establish the citizens’ association "CER"

Pursuant to the provisions of Articles 9, 10 and 11 of the Law on Associations and Foundations of Republika Srpska ("Official Gazette of Republika Srpska", Nos. 52/01 and 42/05), at the session of the Assembly of the Citizens' Association "Center for Education and Reserach", Bijeljina, held on 08.07.2014, a decision was adopted to establish the Citizens' Association "Center for Education and Research".

The Citizens’ Association “Center for Education and Research”, based in Bijeljina, is established as a voluntary, multi-ethnic, independent, non-political, non-partisan, social and educational association in accordance with the Law on Associations and Foundations of Republika Srpska.

The Association's main objectives are:
• contributing to better access to information for young people,
• supporting the improvement of young people’s education,
• promoting young people by engaging them in society,
• working to improve the position of young people,
• better and faster employment opportunities for young people,
• protecting and respecting the rights of children and young people,
• providing assistance to young people in all categories (school pupils, students, etc.)
• preventive health and psychosocial care,
• humanitarian work,
• developing and nurturing historical and cultural traditions,
• cultural and artistic education and engagement of young people,
• cooperation with other domestic and international associations and organisations
• establishing observatories—research centres on children’s status and rights
